Smokers, Tokers, Brothers n Sisters!
me... Living my best life
With over 2 months behind us, all I should have to say is Wow.
As the CEO of Smoke Holdings Ltd., a private company that runs the open-source smoke.io, a decentralized app on the Smoke blockchain, as well as contributes to the development of the Smoke blockchain, I am extremely proud to be apart of what we have accomplished.
Smoke Holdings Ltd. ran one of the smallest successful ICO's in history and were told we would not make it nearly as far as we have. We did not have celeb endorsements or a 'well known' team and being a DPoS chain has its struggles, as does being a 'cannabis' coin.
With a proven revenue model and business plan, that does not rely on market conditions, in place, I think it is safe to say we are proving all the naysayers wrong.
Given the weakness of the cryptocurrency market, the fiat returns on our ads with Mantis increasing, we will be able to purchase back more Smoke than previously thought each month, and keep the lights on as we scale to new highs... (Guess our business model makes sense now huh )
Although we still cannot afford guitars right now. :')
For the past few weeks, you may have noticed my comment or upsmoke on your post. Keep up the great content. I read everything I upvote and am constantly amazed at how diverse and awesome this community is growing into.
... If you have not yet received a comment or upvote from me and thought your content is the dankest chedder cheese, it's not that your content is not worthy of it, I most likely just did not see it...
A day in the life of a @stoner, goes a little something like this:
7'30AM | Wake up by my dog singing me one of his "Get the FUCK outa BED" songs..
7'30AM - 8'30AM | Walk my doggo along the beach, either blazing a wake n bake or doing some exercise... Depending on the mood (Right now I'm stuck in a wake n bake mood, prob cos of the extra late nights)
8'30AM - 10'30AM | Make a coffee and spliff, and open up the laptop. First thing I do is check that nothing major has occured. I then check my emails and answer any urgent ones. My emails are mainly filled with back and forths with exchanges that refuse to list us for anything under what I would call a "mafia" rate, some support tickets will have been escalated up to me and a few outreach connections or PR. After that I briefly check Smoke.io
10'30AM - 1PM | Chat on discord to my devs and any witnesses, advisors or community members that have something to chat about, suggest or ask.
1PM - 2'30PM | Breakfast (Normally another coffee and always another J), wash the dishes and clean my flat then another quick walk with my doggo.
2'30PM - 5'30PM | Start coding on the front end, work through some exercises, or read technical documentation needed for things in the roadmap.
5'30PM - 7PM | Check on things like emails, analytics and daily general business house keeping.
7PM - 9PM | Dinner, Netflix and chill.
9PM - 0AM | Chat to my team and anyone that has connected with me, or outreach those that haven't..
...Then I Smoke, Get Paid. Repeat.
This past week...
I have been working closely with Baabeetaa to create a pretty major update for Smoke.io.
I won't give you any spoilers ..
These updates are a cultivation of listening to you guys n girls, having fun while coding (Yep, it is no longer work when you enjoy it so much), and using the platform as much as I can when I get a gap to see what could be improved and improve the user experience.
I have also started testing the first ad on rollitup.org and we have started to see a few signups drip in from @skylinebuds theweedtube promotion.
Some other things I have been working on is getting some flyers printed locally to get more Zaffers (South Africans) on smoke.io .. I have uploaded the artwork on github:
I urge witnesses to create stickers/flyers and bomb your nearest smoke shops as well!
Let's spread smoke like wildfire,
Founder and CEO of Smoke Holdings, Ltd.
