There are plenty of studies which debunk all FUD he claims. That stated in the same not referenced way as he shares his “plenty of studies”.

He’s only pitching his own sales. Which is cool but he’s also full of already debunked BS. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I’m pretty sure most people in this Millenium realize the dangers of DUI and don’t support it for smoking either. It’s populism, populism serving a sales pitch.

Whenever people resort to cannabis as stepping stone theory... it’s time to whether re-educate them or turn off the volume.

While I don't agree on certain points he makes like this one for instance, this man is one of very few who make sense when it comes to spirituality and way of life. I'm definitely not a follower or devotee, no way I would be but when compared to the person below he's way more knowledgeable :) Good for inputs, just depends how WE process it.

He promotes one-liners which all have been debunked already as not valid generalized claims.

What he does in his “cannabis pitch” is the same as saying “you die from driving a car”. Statistically you will find correctness in that yet no agency will allow that as the truth.

That is how populism works: brainwashing by FUD. Working the emotions by means of instilling Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.

You die by crossing the road. Cross sufficient roads and you drastically increase the exposure to getting hit.
Factually correct, statistically still negligible and no increase in % chance.

Like I said, I don't agree to all the things he says, especially with his weed theory which i find it to be non sense. Not sure how you would deduce his talks since your first impression was negative but exclude this video and give him a listen and let me know what you feel :)

Btw did you listen to the other guy? :D My point was that he's not like the regular "Gurus" who are playing dress up :P

Personally, I generally don’t need gurus in my life. I pursue stoicism which revolves around reason.

I did not see any need to explore a guy introduced as “even worse” just for the sake of justifying that those 5 minutes I previously watched weren’t the worst ones. I’m not a glutton for punishment.

Also, time is our most precious resource. I don’t understand why most people are that wasteful with it. :)

I have read a fair bit of Jiddu Krishnamurti and while no guru, he is definitely someone worth looking into for a very deep journey of simplicity.

Upsmoked by 8-9 fake accounts... They all follow only each other...
