Four months ago, I made a commitment to disperse 420 SMOKE to those who comment and vote for me. I took everything I made in my first year of being on smoke.io, which was around 10,000 smoke at the time. To date, 29 of my biggest fans and supporters over the course of four months of powering-down, have received 420 SMOKE in their wallets. I apologize if any of you feel missed, but I know who you are! I'm just trying to get to everybody and waiting for the smoke to download:)
I went a little bit over my original pledge of 10,000 Smoke and paid out 12,180 in Smoke, but it's all good because, to me, it's a way to share a spliff with my friends and supporters from all parts of the world. What a stage and audience that is when you really stop to think about it? I do not expect any special accolades or 100 % votes for this post unless you feel the need to do so.
Why I Write Here?
I do not write here for money because if I did with the current price of smoke? I would be going through my rolling drawer looking for shake to smoke on a daily basis instead of being able to go around the corner to my 420-Friendly dispensary whenever I want. I'm just keeping shit real because I don't pretend to be anyone I'm not and certain weeks are better than others as far as what may be leftover to buy food and weed for the week, but my bills always get paid first. I write here because it's my downtime to take a break from the daily grind and share my creative writing with those who enjoy it.
Here's Who I Am!
I am a well-known writer in the Cannabis SEO Marketing Industry. Although I do not get credit for being the author, many of you have seen and read my articles on places like Leafy, DidCBDWork, Hightimes, MarijuanaBreak, and many others. My writing can also be seen on sites like Testclear.com where SEO companies and website owners hire me to write SEO website copy as well as the text you see for their product descriptions.
How I Discovered Smoke.io?
I found smoke.io through the course of being hired to write some funny cannabis-related articles for a client on a brokered writing platform whose identity is being kept a secret out of respect. He told me where the text would be posted, so I had to go to smoke.io and see my work! I was amazed at how he included pictures, colored headings, and other cool stuff that made my writing come to life, which I found to be very intriguing!!!
The article that I wrote stayed in the #1 trending position for days with numerous comments that I soon realized - made people happy to read and that's how I discovered smoke.io.
Finding My Place on Smoke
Finding my place here on smoke wasn't easy because I didn't know what I wanted to do here or anything about crypto and the same holds true today. I don't have a clue on how to turn smoke into the paper that I need to survive. I've tried Rudex, but it only added to my confusion and frustration. I'm not computer/crypto-smart like so many I see here; therefore, I was stuck with smoke that meant nothing to me, so I decided to give it all away!
I knew I wanted to do something unconventional and never attempted before, but I wasn't sure what that was yet? I saw that there was some really good and diverse talent here on smoke, and I figured that I wouldn't try to compete in the same marketplace because the authors who are writing reviews, news stories, growing tutorials, and other cannabis-related content are doing a stellar job already! And to me, that felt like my daily job.
Through trial and error of posting misc content and receiving a basic education from another community member on markups and months learning how to use it? I finally found what I was looking for and became the first mad lib writer on smoke with what I'm calling interactive GIF-Books? Involving the entire community into my work is how I found my place on smoke.
How @Groot Was Born?
Writer43 is a name I use on a daily basis in all business matters, and when you write for a living? It's not a lot of fun, especially when you compare your time to your paycheck. So, I would like to separate the two and be known as @Groot here on smoke moving forward. I will be changing my name to @Groot once people have a chance to read this.
I became @Groot because @Darian accused me of being someone else! I took this personally because, in real life, someone accused me of something that I didn't do, and I have no room for false accusations in my life or any attempts at future character assassins. I will always stand up for myself and defend others who have their reputation smeared by a filthy-mouth person such as @Darian who has no respect for others!
The Truth About Guardians of the Cannabis Galaxy
The Guardians of the Cannabis Galaxy provided the perfect plot for my way to say to @Darian, it's not nice to judge others or cut them down with profanity and try to belittle someone who is less computer smart. To be honest, reading his page and comments to others makes me sick, and I'm glad we killed him by Butthurt!
Moving forward with Volume 2, I can go back to writing good clean humor that people enjoy reading. Trust me, I did not like writing about @Darian and his Butthurt; however, he brought it on himself. He doesn't deserve a character in my stories or is there any place for his ignorant comments on my page. I have muted him forever because he's no longer welcome among my stoner friends and he's dead. The truth is, he fucked with the wrong writer, and I utilized the Guardians of the Galaxy to set the story straight!
P.S. I still have some stoners on my 420 Smoke Hit List! I'm just waiting for it to power down! Can somebody speed that up? OMG, it takes forever! :)
To My Fans, You Rock! Much Love @Groot:)
