Anyone tried Mix.com

After getting banned from Pinterest, I've been apprehensive of approaching centralized social media platforms with smoke-indica.com content, but I stumbled upon mix.com after finding out stumbleupon is no more and has been replaced with mix.com

Check out my mix.com profile!

I'm able to rapidly share content using the firefox addon, and share each post to multiple collections based on the post's tags.

How long do you expect my account to last before getting banned? 😂

It doesn't seem to be very active right now, but establishing a presence before it gets very popular could be a good opportunity possibly.

Well let's hope these ones got brain to not ban you. I actually never heard about either of those sites. Pinteres yes but mix and stumbleupon never.

I miss those good old days of stumbleupon driving traffic. 30k/day for a good post was common in first month.

Then 3-4k/day for the next two years. Always was best traffic driver for cornerstone content.

The big question is - what level of traffic can mix.com drive to smoke content? 🤔
Plus, whether or not they'll ban me before I can find out? 😟
Here's hoping it turns out well 👍

I don't think they will ban. AFAIK it's the original SU team who started mix.com, and they always were tolerant. Tolerant as in the community will thumb down topics they don't like,we don't need do that.

Just don't submit 100 posts/day. 😂

I should look closer at it. I think I signed up in its first few days but haven't used it so far.

Just don't submit 100 posts/day. 😂

Yeah.. I've got quite a large backlog of posts to submit 🤔

I don't think it's nearly used as much as reddit is. I should consider a reddit marketing stragedy..

Reddit is a difficult nut to crack. Those kids are fickle, and don’t leave the house anymore either.

Converting a redditor to user, one who stays longer than 2 weeks without returning to Reddit is probably one of the most difficult things I know.

With the blog network we never had much success with Reddit, except when we paid someone with high karma to submit. Then we usually had 2-4 hours traffic from it, before a competitor of them brigades it. They had usually brutal wars going on, much worse than the wars on Digg3.

I've started posting my smoke-indica.com RSS feed to the /r/smokenetwork subreddit. Self promoting elsewhere is difficult and frowned down upon.

At least on reddit you know you won't get banned if you don't break community rules, where as I've been banned from pinterest & my newly created facebook account was instantly locked awaiting verification haha!

At least posting to the /r/smokenetwork sureddit will allow for backlinks from reddit which should improve google search results 🤔

Could be worth it, but their stance on cannabis content is somewhat unknown.. we'll find out together? 😂

Just found my bitsharesmedia page for smoke-indica.com has been deleted. It's not a cannabis friendly site & they're actively censoring users, trash! https://s.bitsharesmedia.com/pages/smoke_indica 404 now :(
