Hey, what's up stoners! I don't know about you guys and gals, but I'm high as fuck on some peanut butter fudge with 150mg of THC for just $5 bucks apiece, so I had to get 8 of those shit's and an ounce some fire Blueberry Gelato that totally rocks for $140 an ounce! For starters, this self-publishing on Kindle is more complicated than using the editor is on smoke beyond any stoned-doubt in my mind, but I'm determined to publish my first e-Book to the best of my abilities.
I got side-tracked at 5 am this morning when I got baked and Googled "Kindle e-book formatting requirements" as the information was overwhelming and raised many questions that resulted in more research queries from image size requirements to page bleed and trim, the amount of stuff that a stoner has to do to self-publish an e-Book requires the best of weed, total concentration, and a big-ass bottle of Excedrin.
This post isn't about votes as much as it is about looking for real feedback from my most dedicated fans, including @Unnamed because this is my first self-published short story, and it's a big deal to me! I consider my fans here on smoke as my friends, and to @Groot you are, so be honest and please tell me if it rocks or if it totally sucks!
I'm a professional article writer by day with clients such as Wayofleaf.com, HeliconUSA.com, DidCBDWork.com, and TrinitySoftware.com to name a few, but ya know something? I enjoy writing articles for the most part, but I also feel enslaved to them as I'm sure that a lot of other professional writers know exactly what I'm talking about!
But when it comes to writing for my own peace of mind, there's nothing like writing stories that people actually enjoy reading; therefore, I'm going "all-in" on this Kindle short-story adventure! It's the "Universal Writer" or Bust Bitches!
During my research into this endeavor, I also discovered that the Kindle e-Book creator has a minimum of 24 pages, which includes images, so this will be like rewriting an entire smoke.io community adventure in one e-Book. Below is a shared-link for my smoke.io fans to get a preview of what to expect in @Groot's first e-Book.
I have to do it this way because I can't afford to have a duplicate copy on the internet, this is for smoke.io stoners only, so you guys and gals can give me feedback on the first 2 completed pages before I get too involved with this project; therefore, your comments would be greatly appreciated!
I have to admit, it does look a lot different on Google shared-docs then it does on the Kindle creator, but it should give readers here, a basic idea of what to expect! Comments are definitely welcome and please enjoy something you may not have expected from @Groot!
P.S. The Man with the Gun is going to be a never-ending series starting with Volume 1, "To Hell and Back" with smoke.io's very own @Bench as the "Man with the Gun," Captain Bench Stone. Enjoy:D
