I’m also new to the medical side, 3 months or so of my 22 years of consuming 😂
Grassroots is from IL so I’m pretty sure you guys get the goodies first..haha I haven’t had a bad word to say about the 3 dozen strains or so I’ve tried from them. I’m loving Grow West out here and Natures Heritage is also putting out some killer strains.

Love your work so far, keep that rollin, bud! 🔥

Thank you 😁 I just put up another on wedding crasher. All the medical cannabis sold in illinois must be grown in illinois. So we only have a hand full of growers right now, but it will be legalized as of january 1st so hopefully more growers and more selection. Though im not starved for that as is, but the more the better lol 😁 we have natures wellness.....and they're not putting out the best quality here. But there are a good few good growers and time will only make them better i hope. My faveorites are goldleaf from ataraxia, revolution, grassroots and aeriz which is supposedly aeroponically grown..... They have very much so impressed me, they grew the ice cream cake i had.

I was more so referring to the genetics and the ‘immaculate conception’ effects - same laws apply here in MD. Funny thing is, where did these genetics come from? Especially clone only strains like cherry pie - HOW did they get to my state and more interesting HOW do they continue to get to my state or any legal medical state?

Think about the very first grow licenses that were granted in both MD and IL...then think about how in the world they had seed and clones when it was just made legal.

Basically, all legal growers have to start by first breaking federal law, ironic isn’t it? 😆 If you want to go ‘all legal’ you basically can’t grow. Break the law to start the legal process..lol

Here in MD we have some real half ass companies too, only a few putting out high quality products. Seriously loving ur photo work tho! I’ll just look at yours until I can find some more top notch for myself 😆 I do love trying them all to find out

Lol thank you for the compliments. Down the rabbit hole we go? I absolutely love this idea and was thinking something similar recently. Where did they get the starting plants? Legally there wouldnt have been a way i could see. I would imagine if they wanted to start completely legally, they would have had to find some naturally occuring plants, which ive seen plenty of in illinois, and genetically modify the absolute hell out of it over thousands of generations to achieve all the strains we have now. HIGHLY improbable they went this route, so ill just rest easy knowing someone "bent" a law just enough to get everyone started lol. But it is a fun activity to exercise the brain 😂😂😁 i love love LOVE that i have the CHOICE now rather than whatever ole boy got this week, even if they dont turn out to be the best, i still love that it was my choice to get a bad one. But there are soooooo many to choose from itll be hard to test em all, but we can dream cant we?

😆 yeah those laws are made for bending, no doubt about that. Some things are only worthwhile until they’re broken. I love getting strains here that I’ve seen first go thru the initial market in IL and magically meander to MD. There’s something about the whole process that really intrigued me, as a longtime black market consumer. Having choice and really no bad choice to consider is great, isn’t it?! I’ve been legal for just at few months so I’m still getting accustom to this new realm. I’ve tried maybe 3 dozen strains from a half dozen producers and they have all been pretty on point. I’ve had some herb in many states and countries in my travels, but medical flower and concentrates in every state certainly stands above some of the garbage I’ve sought on the street. I was raised in Baltimore so a few bucks, ur shoes or some weed can get u killed. I’m so grateful for medical marijuana that I’ll be giving a shout out at the tHanksgiving dinner table bro 😂😂😂💯

The initial laws were stupid, to get the marijuana tax stamp you had to have the marijuana, but in order to have said marijuana, you needed to have said tax stamp. Stupid and purposfully unachievable. None of the laws have been much better, though we are getting there slowly but surely 😁 How this wonderful plant has gotten around the world and into the hands of those who need it is completely thanks to awesome people like you, me, and everyone else who loves this plant doing their part to "spread the love" lol 😂 and i hated the black market, the choices were the one thing i absolutely could not wait to enjoy. Not now limited to flowers and what I could do with them, but now professionally grown flowers, concentrates 😁😁😁 edibles, tintures, rso, topicals, pills, and whatever other form i desire. That is honestly the best part. I love sampling everything, but my dispensary only sells flower by the 1/8 and concentrates by the gram so, kinda pricey to try everything, but i will slowly lol. There has been nothing ive tried so far that wasnt superior to the streets and i love that! Hahaaa im right outside chicago so i feel you on the shoes thing, though just being in the wrong place or the wrong car seems to be enough in chicago as of late 😢 maybe next year when all of my fellow illinois can enjoy, we might calm down a bit 🤗 i am also very much thankful for the medical acceptance so far and the legalization is not far off, we just have to be paitent paitents til then lol 😁😁😁
