It's not a Caterpillar.

The ower of these buds said these are natural buds with some kind of medical treatment, but didn't tell more about the kind of treatment. Does anybody here know what kind of medical treatment this could be?
Well if you are wondering how I got these pictures, I am one of the admins of a local marijuana-related facebook page and a user sent it there to share on the page.

That is some weird looking flower, like it is dipped to look sticky

·

I also feel the same, but he says it was treated medically and even those buds don't look that good stuff, I can see some really big seeds like of hemp's.

·
·

maybe it's hemp dipped in something? :/

may be.

Weird I would not smoke it just to be safe

that looks a bit like old school Thai stick ...

·

I am not sure about that, haven't got a chance to see a Thai stick in real life yet :(

Those look like cobbed weed.

You wrap a cola tightly and let it ferment as it dries. It tends to provide a different sort of high, often stronger. It's usually chewed slowly.

Or maybe it's just colas that were tightly bricked before they were dry. But the "medical treatment" made me think of fermentation.

·

every day you learn something new, that post is dope, they do some crazy shit to those buds, I have to try it someday, fermented weed why not? It suposse to be something they do in Malawi

·

This looks pretty much close, never knew about such thing before. Thanks for that link and the word "cob weed" of course. That's why I love this place.😊

Perhaps by medical treatment they mean that it was a bad batch that they tried to salvage? It doesn't look like amazing quality cannabis to be honest, i'd be cautious to smoke it..

·

I also guess same, it certainly doesn't look any good product at all.

You see plenty of weed pressed like that in South america, to achieve that you press it or vacuum pack it when is still not fully dry, no medical treatment involved

·

something like this? I find it slightly different but I could be wrong that's why I'm searching for other's opinions.:)

·
·

that´s being done using an old school press it looks like the typical Paraguay brick you find in Brasil or Argentina, what you showed look more like vacuum packed, or, depending on the pressure on the press or if you pressed small flowers instead of full stems results will be different(visually). What is clear to me is that the stems you showed in the picture is somehow pressed

·
·
·

Yeah this one is compressed and they call it brick too as you said, and based on where I live and where it comes from I can tell you this is certainly the old school method. This is a product from lowlands where the temperature is pretty hot. I don't know why they do this but cannabis from those areas always comes like this.

·

Around here we called that Mexico brick weed and you knew to stay away inless you got it dirt cheap as it was bunk barn smelling crap that was harsh

Perhaps it was dried with breathable cover, sort of like bandage.
