Summary

Week 18 is the 4th week in a row to see the progress of +10 new users in average per week.
85 new users are not too far from the 90 users that I wished for. So can we expect to finish Week 19 over 100 users?

Week 18 had an increase of +13.33% WoW (Week on Week) and had a growth increase of +1.46% WoW (Week on Week) of the total of users on Smoke.io

🤔Info about this report🤔

Online updated version

I do this #report weekly since week 6 of Smoke launch to keep track and show the #growth of Smoke.io to the community. Data is being extracted directly from Smoke blockchain in Javascript based on the code of SmokeWitnessReport developed and shared by @bbq-iguana and @emeraldtreasury and the result is saved in .csv. At the moment I use Excel to interpolate the data and then create plots using the library Plot.ly and host it on Github.

Other information

Hey Smokers,

Again, it has been quite an intense week. I have been learning this Server-side development with NodeJS, Express and MongoDB course on Coursera. That didn't let me much time to automate and simplify this report. I'm still making steps towards it and that will help me spend more time on the bigger project. So I think that this week I will work more on this report, I don't seem to be able to work on both projects at the same time.

I have managed to download and store in .csv files, block 'metadata' until block 3,400,000 blocks. 50,000 blocks by 50,000 manually and then merge it into 1 file that contains +400k transactions since lunch:). I have got some raw graphs but I still have to work on them before releasing any new visuals. And will have to re-download all the metadata as I have mixed 2 categories into 1 and didn't label properly the transaction for resmoke.

For the larger project, I was interested in how to follow Smoke blockchain using NodeJS so I have checked and modified the code from Github for Smoke Explorer. That works pretty well, at the moment I'm stuck at the step where I want to save a JSON file to MongoDB. Hopefully next week I will be working on it 🤞

🤓 #Witness Status 🤓

I wanted to show you a screenshot I took last week for the Tablet setup, but I forgot to show it last week.

I'm running Termux on Android which then runs 2 Tmux sessions. I have some issues with Termux closing the sessions. But I love the look of it on the tablet 🤓
