Michigan has finally opened its door for recreational marijuana to be allowed and sold in licensed dispensaries and that will be today, Sunday at exactly 10 AM. About six businesses were granted and approved to sell recreational marijuana mostly coming from Ann Arbor. If you are in those areas, you can do so, but never bring one outside the country because it is still prohibited.
In order for you to avail of this long-awaited moment, first and foremost you should be at least 21 years of age with a valid state ID and/or a driver’s license. As expected, a throng of buyers formed a long line even before the opening day.
Some even had a camp out in order to avail of this sale. Other travelers came from neighboring countries too. Michigan officials predicted a hundred and millions of dollars for the first-year sales of recreational marijuana.
James Daly, owner of a medical dispensary, was among those who were granted and approved to sell marijuana for adult use this month of December. Working force was doubled since they’re expecting more customers from neighboring states.
Illinois will also start in January, 2020.
