LOWELL CAFÉ___The First to Allow Cannabis On-Site in the US

Hiyah Smokers! It’s an amazing fact that cannabis is gradually exposing itself legally in West Hollywood. Lowell CAFÉ was granted the as the first ever restaurant that has been granted to allow an open on-site cannabis for consumers nationwide. West Hollywood City officially approved its business license to operate.

At Lowell CAFÉ, you will be able to secure a bite as well as a bud. The place has the cool ambience with its trees covering the patio where guests could enjoy the hospitality of Lowell Farms. Though the guests are not there merely for a bowl of salad over a cup of iced tea, but rather they are there to get a hit.

Lowell Farms was the first to avail a License to operate and sell cannabis among the 300 entity applicants. The CAFÉ opened last October 1, 2019 under the supervision of David Elias, CEO and cofounder of Lowell Herb Co. Among others, pre-packaged cannabis goodies are served in the form of edibles, rolled joints and fresh flowers.
Elias said that it’s time for consumers to enjoy the freedom of using cannabis after more than a century of prohibition.

FAIR SERVICES

The guests were given the option on which strains to enjoy through the “flower host” whereas the chef is responsible for which dishes to prepare that will go with the selected strains. With its extensive list, the ‘flower host’ will serve as a ‘sommelier’ to assist the guests on the various strains and labels of cannabis. Accoutrements are made available for rent such as bud vases, Vape pens or guests may bring their own buds for $20 fee as ‘toke-age’. The guests are assisted as to their tolerance of smoke, they are capable of and the right pair of food they are going to partake to complement the terpenes in cannabis being offered.

It is important to know that they do not offer those that are cannabis-infused menus because the State Law prohibits such infusions as well as THC-infused drinks. You can smoke either indoors or at the patio but you can never take out the cannabis with you.

A GOOD SIGN

Despite the limitations, just a puff with your mates is significant enough, Elias said. This implies the reality that the prohibition of cannabis in California has ended. As such, Lowell CAFÉ play an important part in the history of cannabis movement in the legalization of cannabis.

Can you please explain the use of tags here?

Did you go there and are posting your review? Is this post strains or edibles related?

Hint: Tags do have a function. They serve both humans and machines to find and connect related topics. If I click reviews, I want to find reviews. If I click edibles, I wish to read about edibles. If a developer want to aggregate strains posts... this is none of them.

Please, do respect the correct functionality of tags. Google, developers, everyone has functionality for it. “Spreading a post further” is not the use of tags.

PS: wrong tags use is specifically mentioned as a possible reason for flagging in the flag pop-up.

·

With all due respect, the tags are all related to the news above mentioned. The topic relates to the edibles, the strains and CBC offered by Lowell CAFÉ. It is a review of the first legal restaurant in California. Can you at least give a positive feedback of my effort?

·
·

How is review related? Unless it was a review of the Forbes article, you were not there. So review is a rewrite, not a review of an experience.

How is strains related? Because they sell flower... yeah pulling teeth, alright.

How is edibles related? Yes, there is a small note that edibles are illegal in California. Also pulling teeth to be honest since not a major topic of the article.

You want positive feedback? I invest time in highlighting what I think can be inproved. Time is the most precious resource we have. I even upsmoked this. I also upsmoked a previous offtopic post (which was also wrongly tagged btw).

Feedback can be constructive(ly meant) even if it doesn't blow up sun where the sun don't shine. The latter has no value whatsoever when it can reinforce possible wrong behavior.

Blatant plagiarism as previously happened deserves no positive feedback but note I didn't flag nor ask curators to remove their rewards.

Important note: if I didn't think you could become a worthy contributor... I would neither upsmoke neither invest time. Positive enough?

Excuse me sir, it is not plagiarism. I used my own words and quoted my source, A review could be a rewrite but it's not plagiarism. It could be spiinning but not plagiarized. Review, rewrite and spinning is not plagiarism. All of the above is a simple news about the fact that the said cafe is now legally operating in California. I appreciate your upvote too. But it's not plagiarized. In fact, I made this review fairly and followed your advice from your previous criticism of my last post.. I took that as constructive criticism, but it seems it's not enough. The previous tags were not mentioned as not related.

... it is not plagiarism.

I did not say this was plagiarism. I referred to a previous post of yours. Btw I have no issue with “content spinning”: +90% of the internet’s news content is rewritten. +80% of all content I’ve ever published (thousands of posts over the years, I’ve definitely hit more than 1 million words already) was based on not first-hand sources.

A review is a critique btw.

The previous tags were not mentioned as not related

No, because I don’t want anyone to have the impression that I nitpick [on every post]. But if I see [IMHO] a pattern form, and I think that nevertheless there is potential/uphill curve, then I will speak up.

Sadly, there was no other place to do so. If you were in our discord I would have done there in the Tips channel, as I hope that over the next months we can show on Smoke that we can level up our game and become an awesome cannabis [content] destination.

With stellar authors, or authors who have grown massively. This post is great already compared to previous. And I probably was a little over-zealous in my initial comment. I’m INTJ. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I do think, based on this post, that if you want to regularly write news... there is big potential and I hope we will see that evolve and become a regular feature on Smoke.

Yes (full disclosure), tags are a pet peeve of mine. They are a very powerful semantic tool of potential huge use to developers (and machines).

Don't worry... when we're a bigger community I will probably be blind to them and not see them anymore. No matter how many indica sativas we will have. Non hybrids I mean. :D

Good news for the Californian people. I don't know when it will be legalized in our own farm jejejeje.. How I wish to plant it in the middle of my coconut farm. So when there will be a raid, they will be hitted by the coconut fruits! Is this a kind of funny things @sarimanok?

·

Lol! We'll just wait till it's legalized @lawlai and everything will be fine. You already have coconut for oil preps then the rest follows! Thank you for dropping by.
