It was great day at the Terptown farmers Market in Spencer, MA, last week.
click here for the link to the video of some interviews from the event.
So many great locally owned cannabiz were there to help celebrate the strength of the weekend.
The Terptown Farmers Fest is not the actual Terptown Throwdown late August event, but rather a small farmers market type, community event.
The Terptown Throwdown is going to be amazing and will have a ton of bands playing and i got my tickets for the event last week. 2020 was rough on community.
The Terpies are very much community minded,
and also will be hosting a highly anticipated home grow contest in June,
They have partnered with the town of Spencer to get the local farmers market going. Spencers adminstrative folks and #terptown have built a great relationship and kind of serve as a model to how the #communityhostagreement piece should work.
Today at the fairgrounds, the vibe is more low key, and there are some great folks here with some very good products to promote
If I wasn't already a little high when I got here, I was definitely fully #zooted within 4 minutes and 20 seconds of entering the market. I grabbed a pre-roll straight away. It was great and i was glad I had done it.
I Always like to see them at these things. Their dude Joe is Very knowledgeable and down to earth with deep community roots.
Also in the House... my friends from
Gardens by Gilf. super knowledgeable grow op consultants out of the Q-Zoo aka President City Quincy MA, which im pretty sure was named for that cop-doctor
who ate steak-mmms on the tv
Another one of my favorite local brands is the Weed Boggs,
i really like their chocolate bars, and they're good folks as well.
They do a nice job with their cleverly designed merch. Kind of fun :)
Also saw the homies from Cali Flo. If you aren't familiar, they do culture clothes. I have a mouse pad by them and I really like their hats designs. They sponsor a ton of cannabis events and are very cool and friendly. I always enjoy seeing them here in the local arena.
The vendors here are so craft oriented.
I like to vote with my dollars
and so i come here and tend to do a lot of voting
and if you know me, you know I really like voting for weed food
Wicked Good Edibles brought their high end pies
i always vote for pies!
and met some great local folks as per usual, like the people from Milked in Watertown
Local favorites The Who is Mary Palmers were also in the house
great brand and always have interesting items
and always great packaging and designs.
DJ Stenny was there and hooked me up with some rose lotion for my lady at home. Good looks mang:)
They have been making medicinal topicals and other stuff for over 20 years in New England.
Interesting folks for sure.
Also met the dog lovers from @ObisGarden
safe to say.... if you love dogs and weed, and dont say "R"s , we cann be friends.
And of course the hard working folks at Masscann were also present,
to meet folks and to encourage pushing for the achievement of social equity in the cannabis space. They're busy planning the next Freedom Rally in September, one of the top cannabis events in the nation. Very excited for this years show.
What a nice day out in the community with friends.
Terptown "Everything" ... Highly Recomended !
