Illegal In Ghana

Hello to everyone here. I've been on smoke for a while now. I've mainly been blogging about general issues since I joined. I've not had much luck with upvotes and @powerpics and @blackman. Unfortunately, I don't have good stories with regards to weed/cannabis/marijuana.

If you aren't aware, weed is illegal in Ghana. The president of the republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, has said himself that he used to smoke, so I wonder why it;s even still illegal. He says he has stopped, but I can't confirm that since I don't stay with him. He can even hide it if I stay with him.

There's a lot of debate going on if weed, as it's commonly called here in Ghana, should be legalized. Lots of people are talking about the revenue the country can generate from weed. People are allowed to drink alcohol and smoke cigarette almost everywhere in public, so why not weed. It's also believed that weed smokers are often violent, so other's are also against it.

I know a few people who are rowdy generally, but are very calm when high. I guess that means weed doesn't make people necessarily violent. The debate is still going on, and i'm sure when the government is in need of extra cash, weed will be legalized so the politicians can make more money of it. They are already making money of it though, but not all of them. I have some friends who've been arrested and will share with this community.

There are really big people who smoke, but the moral war against it is quiet strong. Will be hard to break that.

That is reality. Nothing is too big to take down.

Ok, will see about that
