Hello dear friends,
I was planning to post the second part of my Parvati Valley Episode :) , but you know how it is with life...it tends to surprise quite a bit.
Although the baby was only due in 2-3 weeks, she decided she had enough swimming and decided it was time for her to break free.
- a painting i saw hanging in the hospital, a little modification of course, but amazing painting isnt it?
So today I've been woke up at 6:00 in the morning, with my partner mumbling something about labor pains, and water breaking..."baby is coming, wake up, baby is coming..."...not sure exactly... as all I could hear was "coffee....would you like some coffee?!"...
Seriously though, I did wake up...its funny how i can get ready in a brief moment when i am in a real hurry somewhere, but its gotta be like a real hurry, a life or death kind of situation...
Because if its not a really hurry, no matter how much i try, i always take my time...you know...a little smoke there, a little puff there..those things take time ;)
So we arrived at the hospital in no time, and although we planned to give birth at the hospital in a neighbour city, as we did with the first one, due to better facilities...but as the process was already progressing very fast, we could not risk it, and decided to go to a closer hospital in the city where we live.
it was early morning, so the ward was almost empty...apparently most of the birth are happening at the evening or night, and early morning hours are usually chill..
So we had the whole crew fired up and refreshed and got the best welcoming.
Apparently she was pretty advanced by the time we arrived...and after a few quick check-ups she was rushed into the delivery room.
They didn't even let her use the washrooms as they were afraid she might give birth there...
I am not gonna go into further details regarding what happens next, but for those of you who had the privilege to see a woman bringing a child into this world, you probably know what an amazing experience it is, and for everybody else, I hope and wish you will get a chance to experience it as well.
It as very fast...compared to the 14 hours we spent with our first daughter, it took only 3 hours to pop out this one...and that's including the waiting, and the pushing and even a sandwich ;)
I guess she was eager to come out...and her mom as a real champ!
The baby came out healthy and beautiful, her curious eyes already started to explore her surroundings...
She was welcomed by her big sister with a smile and a kiss :) I am sure they will get along just fine!
Welcome to this world baby Sol, welcome to our life, may your experience in this world will be full of light, love and laughter...
I apologize for the lack of interactivity in today's post, there are no fancy buds, or smoking devices, no 20X Zoom on juicy nuggets...just a new baby for me :), just another amazing change in my crazy life.
Thanks for stopping by guys, feels nice to share my day i guess :))
Time for just a smoke before sleeping...at least trying too..
See ya all soon.
