Seattle Govenor Offers Pot Misdemeanor Pardons

Seattle Govenor Jay Inslee is offering thousands of pardons to those with misdemeanor marijuana convictions.

Seattle has famously decriminalized cannabis usage and allowed for the sale of cannabis in dispensaries.

This is good news and tracks with the times.  Those who were convicted between 1998 and 2012 solely for cannabis crimes could be eligeable.  Initiative 502 was passed in 2012, which legalized cannabis usage for those 21 and older.

What do you think?  Will other states follow suit?
