I made RSO for a friend with Cancer

I have read a lot about RSO

But till today I have never made any, as it normally is expensive and is out of my price range. But over the last year or so growing I happen to have some organic cannabis I grew that I took and made some RSO for a friend who Friday was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. He won't be do chemo or radiation but he is willing to try RSO.

What you need to make RSO

A quarter pound of ground cannabis, EverClear a double broiler or a crockpot/rice cooker and water. A Fan and a well ventilated place, I used my stoves vent to ventilate the fumes. As alcohol is highly flammable so always make RSO in a well ventilated area.

First Decarbox your Ground Cannabis

After a quick trip through the food processor you need to decarbox your cannabis first. The put it into a tall jar that has a tight seal lid.

Once your decarbox cannabis is in the Jar

You need to pour your everclear over the cannabis till it is about an inch or so above the plant material.

I use a long tea spoon to stir

I stir it really good till everything is nicely coated. Then I put the lid on and shake the mixture for about 10 minutes and let it sit for about another 10 minutes.

I then strained the plant material out of the liquid

I at first used a glass measuring cup. And put it in a crock pot on high. And let it do it's thing to slowly boil the Everclear away.

An hour and half later

The 2 and 1/2 hour mark

The 4 hour mark

My glass measuring cup is thick

At the 6 hour mark enough liquid had evaporated, so I poured it into a ball jar as the ball jars are not as thick as the measure cup hoping it would evaporate quicker.

A hour 7 I got impatient with how long it was taking

So I pulled out a pan and put water it and put the jar in it and got the water boiling. The last cup or so of the liquid started evaporating a lot quicker when I was able to get the water boiling.

I yielded about 12 ml from this method

I was able to fill two 5 ml syringes and another one with about 3 ml. 2 of the syringes should last a month from what I have read. If he can't take it in it's raw form I will get some empty capsules to put it in. But sublingual treatments are suppose to be more effective.

So this is how I spent my day

Making RSO, but I also made some more Cannabutter while I was stinking up the house decarboxing, figured I should make some Cannabutter too. Hopefully this works and cures his cancer. Till next time stoners it's 4:20 somewhere so puff puff bogart that shit, if you want to share make some edibles.

I need to make some of this!

·

I tried a little dose to test it out and wow what a kick. Took it over to my buddy that has cancer this evening show him how much to take twice a day and watched him take the first dose. In less than 10 minutes you could see it hit him hard. He likes, hopefully it will throw the cancer into remission and cures him.
