THE LITTLE RUNT 7-DAY
SOLO CUP CHALLENGE
Although the little runt's two sister clones tower over the fragile, small clone, it refuses to die and is showing signs of new growth and leaves; however, upon a transplanting project scheduled for this afternoon I discovered more algae on the topsoil of the little runt and none on the other two.
This is most likely due to me missing a small area of it when I rinsed the starter plugs off. The good news, it appears that it was only on the topsoil, so I scraped the infested area and inspected the soil, which was free of algae, but showed no signs of rootball development on its exterior shell.
ALGAE CAN BE PERSISTANT
NO SIGNS OF ALGAE
OR ROOTBALL DEVELOPMENT
So, I have started a 7-day solo cup challenge: the little runt vs its two towering sister clones. In all fairness, the little runt deserves a head start over its two healthier sisters. Therefore, I have given the little runt new dirt, a bigger pot, and one week to catch up before they get put into 5 gal pots, vegged for several more weeks, and flowered at the same time.
A 7-DAY HEAD START!
THE RACE IS ON!
CAN THE LITTLE RUNT CATCH UP AND IF SO, WHEN?
