PLEASE ENJOY THIS CLASSIC TRACK WHILE READING MY GROW POST!
Hello to my fellow Rolling Stoners, and how's everyone doing on this very fine and stoned Tuesday night? There are big things happening around the world with the COVID-19 pandemic and where an N-95 mask is not required at @Writer43's crib. This is week 4 of flower, and the F1 Sour Diesel tri-clone has surpassed my expectations and adjusted nicely from being a monster in my closet to being a Beast of Burden, but in a very good way!
The pic above is day-one of the Beast of Burden being dropped into my flowering tent and its first time being introduced to a scrog net. As you can see, the tri-clone itself did a good job of initially filling about half of the 56 cubic square feet of available growing space, but it was also necessary to use some HST training techniques by bending the taller shoots over & under the scrog net and into adjacent holes in order to achieve an even canopy, which is always the end goal of growing big nugs of cannabis.
Instead of buying a manufactured scrog net, I prefer to make my own, so I can adjust the size of the holes according to the needs of each plant because each plant tends to be slightly different from the previous one and as I've discovered, sometimes that extra flexibility comes in handy, especially when your entire indoor grow operation is limited to flowering just one plant at a time.
If you look at the bottom of the pic above, you can clearly see the three main branches of the tri-clone. Although the plant has grown and adjusted quite nicely to the HST training, it's still a little too bushy for my liking; therefore, I like to defoliate and lollipop during week 2 or 3 of the flowering cycle because it gives the plant plenty of time to adjust to its new lighting schedule and recover from the stress of the HST training.
WTF @Writer43! Why would you do that to such a healthy-looking plant? The answer is simple. I'm only interested in growing large, dense, and potent nugs to smoke. I've learned from my past years of growing medical-grade cannabis, popcorn nugs that develop on the branches in the undergrowth segments of the cannabis plant do not amount to shit after they dry!
As most experienced growers already know, lollipopping sends the energy that would have been consumed by the undergrowth to the top where it matters the most and makes your main colas swell. If you're into making kief and edibles, then every bud on the plant would matter, but since I'm old school and set in my ways, I thoroughly enjoy smoking fat spliffs that has the alien capabilities to stone me into another dimension!
But the real Beast of Burden to the smoke.io community is unquestionably @Darian, the cancerous tumor of the site. Here's a news flash Bitch - you've been punked! You may be smarter on a computer than me, but when it comes to understanding and relating to people, I'm far superior! I led you on to believe that I was supporting you, and your dumb ass fell for it! LOL
Bahhh and your gum-rubbering filthy-mouth! There's no need to reply because I muted your bitch ass and all of your cluster accounts; therefore, you're wasting your time! And here's another a reality check for your dumb ass: I make more money in one-day writing high-quality articles than you do in a year playing with your smoke coins!
