Grow, Learn, Repeat (Mother Earth and Papas Candy grow diary/part 2)

Plants are at 5th Day of Flowering and I just trimmed the bottom branches, not much else to say asides some remarks on the experiment with the different light systems used.

Papa´s Candy (Eva seeds- Spain)

To the left are the plants under the LEC system and to the right the ones under HPS, I also put the plants that had the root mass more developed under the LEC. I do notice a healthier bigger growth on the plants under the LEC.

Here is a view of the plant with the bottom branches trimmed.

Mother Earth (Mr Hyde seeds - Spain)

To the left plants under LEC and to the right the ones under HPS, this time I put the ones with more developed root mass under the HPS and for now growth is very similar under both systems. This could mean that LEC performs better at this stage of growth even if root mass is less developed, but I rather wait for another week to draw more conclusions

Here again, a view of the plants with the bottom branches trimmed

New product: MAMMOTH P

Mammoth P
It has been a while since I wanted to test this product, many friends that grow told me about it and my local grow store gave me a free sample, so I decided to introduce it in my feeding schedule. This is what the makers have to say about their product:

MAMMOTH P was developed by Growcentia’s founders at Colorado State University using next-generation technology. MAMMOTH P has been tested extensively by Colorado growers and independent labs have proven to increase plant growth. All production is done at our facility in Fort Collins Colorado to maintain the highest level of quality control. This beneficial bacterial formula works great in soil, soilless, and hydroponic systems. Using MAMMOTH P in hydroponic systems is an excellent way to introduce the organic benefits of soil microbial nutrients without sacrificing water quality. MAMMOTH P was engineered to supplement any fertilizer program.

It's crazy how I keep finding out about strains I haven't heard of STILL to this day. LOL. Looking amazing so far!

I also like how you've given this as well:

Feeding Schedule:
Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur (Bloom)A+B 1,3 mltrs per liter
Advanced Nutrients Big Bud 0,5 mltrs per liter
Advanced Nutrients Bud Factor X 0,5 mltrs per liter
Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy 0,5 mltrs per liter
Advanced Nutrients Piranha 2 mltrs per liter
Advanced Nutrients Bud Ignitor 2 mltrs per liter
Canna Rhizotonic 2 mltrs per liter
Canna Cannazym 2 mltrs per liter
Grotek Pro-Silicate 2 mltrs per liter
Growcentia Mammoth P 0,16 mltrs per liter

Kinda gives me an idea of what I might want to consider using in the future, when I'm able to grow finally!

Yep, same here, learning about great strains in smoke, I can picture in a future with many countries legalizing that each one will have their fav strains, but a bit like wine, certain regions of the world will get a lot more attention from users.

Glad that you like my feeding schedule , I´ve tried many brands, and am sure I will try some more, but it seems that since year 2003 more or less I keep going back to Advanced Nutrients, Connoisseur is a great base, It is a mineral product it does have a lot of organic components in it, you could very easily grow with very good results just with that, and it is not that expensive. In any case, fertilizers are this days way better than when I started growing and am sure they will get much better. Thanks for your support! ;-)

definitely to learn something..great job...keep them updates coming

Thanks bro, I would be very happy if you gave a try at growing, I ve a feeling you could be very good at it ;-)

I was, mediocre..but not now...

Looking good bro, they are coming along quite nicely, thanks for the update.

Amazing bro!!! keep it up 😍👊💯

Awesome garden dude! Mammoth P is great! I have been using it in 2 grows and it really shows results, only in later stages of the grow if you want to experience full benefit and growing in soil you have to use quite a lot - 4ml per gallon in peak flowering and runs out quite fast. But yeah works without a doubt.
I was expecting faster development with LEC or CMH compared to HPS; and why not use some MH bulb for veg instead of that hps?
Keep it green dude!

woow they look awesome ! :)
