LILY KUSH - GROW UPDATE

Lily Kush

It has been 60 days since I discovered Lily Kush growing in a pot and it is growing alright except that I neglected it a bit because of our moving to a new flat. I have been busy after our dog Lily´s untimely death the day after my birthday and it was causing me a lot of pain because I miss her a lot. To keep me busy, I worked hard with the packing of our household items. We have moved about 100 boxes the other day and after that some of our furniture will follow.

Nine Weeks Old.....

To give a hint what Lily Kush is about, I discovered this plant accidentally but did not know what strain the seed came from. It can be this was a seed that has fallen down from the Green Poison or Amnesia Platinum during the harvest last year. I gave it the Lily Kush name in honor of my dog. We will know more when it grows to be a budding plant... I´ll cross my finger that it will grow tall.

Lack of nutrients....

You might have noticed that the leaves have those white spots. I checked, there are no parasites whatsoever. As I have said, the feeding was not regular, thus the lack of nutrients and the white spots appeared. But I know that it will get better the next time I post an update..

Topping and defoliation done.....

Though still young, I already topped it 3 weeks ago. Also the fan leaves were removed to give way to new nodes as well as new leaves.

So, guys I hope by the time I give an updated grow status the branches have already grown big. The 1st and the last pic below were taken the other day.

Sorry to hear about your dog.

·

Thanks. She had been mom in-law´s dog..when she moved to a special clinic for alzheimer patients, we fostered her because we didn´t want her to land in the shelter.

·

Good info @offgrid, thanks!

See if the 6 and 7 leaves sprout on the larger leaf ... maybe a hybrid

It'll give you a nice grow sooner after the unpacking of stuffs and settled to your new dwelling, hope it'll go that smoothly.
Looking forward for the next harvest👍

·

Oh thanks... yes, I ´ll take care of her for sure... I´ll make Lily Kush grow big and have a nice harvest.

Oh yeah it's a new environment, how about the fresh air and sunshine, do you have enough of those?

In the new abode!? Yes... enough air and environment is good because we are surrounded by wheat fields and a National Park is nearby.

No not yet. The kitchen will be installed next week.. But we are already moving our things there.

I always love seeing what your grow is up too. Did you figure out what the plant is lacking? The culprit of the white spotting? I’m interested.

I notice your leaf tips are burnt. Are you sure it’s not too much nutrients?

What a great way to honor a pet!

·

We have rain the last 3 weeks, always cloudy and I was damning it! So I placed Lily Kush together with the GZ and AK47 outside the terrace to get fresh air. The white spotting I suppose should be the lack of nutrients because I just watered them with water sometimes mineral water every other day when the soil was drying-up the last two weeks... had no time to mix the veg feed because of lack of time. I think the burnt leaf tip was caused by the sun, because there was a day when the sun showed up with temp of 27°C. Kinda shock for the newbie because it was cooler all the time inside the house and then suddenly the high temp outside.

I´ll take care of Lily Kush in the next days and let´s see what happens... Oh dear, moving to a new place is exhausting and we are not done yet! Thanks for the visit and support! Have a great week ahead!

I think your right on with your observations. I have a bit of spotting too, why I was inquiring. Happy growing!

Thanks..... you too! I am keeping an eye on your grow and see whether I could get some tips....

Can't wait to see your new harvest in the new place. I also miss your lily.
Don't work so hard, it may cause back pain.
Good luck to your new place to live a happy life.

·

Do not worry, I have recovered a bit on Lily's passing. I think I'll have a good harvest. I only have to concentrate on the transfer to the new flat..
