While most people spend their Sunday mornings sleeping in, relaxing or enjoying a nice big breakfast, I was busy in the grow room harvesting my next crop of cannabis.
I had some Gorilla Zkittles, Super Skunk and OG Kush waiting my attention and I set to work in there just as the sunrise crested the horizon.
This is my favorite time of day, favorite time of the crop and most favorite time to admire my work from the last few months.
Pictured is one of the large colas from my OG Kush. Ain't she a beauty!
Can't wait to see her after she's dried out and cured.
I don't usually pick favorites, but anyone who's been following me for the last nine months know that OGKush holds a special place in my heart.
Here is a cola from one of the Super Skunk plants.
This is my first time growing SSK, and I'm anxious to see the results.
The information about this indica dominant strain from leafly states:
A predominantly indica variety, Super Skunk takes its robust flowers from its parent strain Skunk #1. By backcrossing the legendary Skunk with Afghani genetics, Sensi Seeds created a strain with dense, thick buds that are known to be extremely pungent with a surprisingly sweet taste. This strain produces a bold relaxing effect over the body and is a great answer for increased stress and body pains.
Usually I will hang the cannabis branches from hangers in the grow tent, but this time I opted for using my mesh hydroponic hanging dry net. I haven't used this net since my second harvest and I thought I'd give it a try go this crop.
Sometimes dealing with the twine to hang the branches from the hanger can be cumbersome and I was looking for a quicker way in another week when I go to trim it up for curing.
