Another busy day but a free afternoon to make gummies

A friend recently came buy to get some chocolate candies for her mom

Her mother is coming to the end of her life and has been in pain and is tired of opiates so she asked her daughter if she could get some edibles cause she heard they are good for pain. So she got her mom 10 chocolates. Her mother loves what they do for the pain but wondered if I offered gummies as she not a big chocolate eater. No problem I can do gummies. I gave her four flavors to choose from as that is what I have on hand and had just enough to make what she ordered. I have lemon, black cherry, watermelon and blueberry. She chose blueberry thankfully cause I would have had enough of the other flavors to have filled the order as she is wanting 30 gummies.

1 (6-ounce) package flavored gelatin
5 (1/4-ounce) packages unflavored gelatin (1.5 oz total)
1 cup water (cold)
.5 ounces of tincture
Candy molds of your choice
Makes 40 candies depending on your mold size and shape.

They are yummy gummies

I am glad to make them again, it has been awhile as noone has ordered any and since I get so many orders for chocolates I don't bother making them very often. But I might need to change that cause they are yummy gummies. Today has been as busy as yesterday, I have had 3 $1,000 profit days in a row, seriously people need to start preparing for disasters and I hope they do after all this is over with for the next one cause it isn't a matter of if but when. Till next time stoners it's 4:20 somewhere so puff puff pass, don't mess up the rotation.

Hey 2 question do you let your gummies sit out and dehydrate before you package them? And have you had any problems with them molding? I stopped doing gummies because they would mold out so fast. Ive started looking at making them again but the 2 things im foing to try before i infusse them is the dehydrating them and im going to pick up some Lorann mold inhibitor and see if that helps

I haven't had any issues but I also don't sit them out. I keep them refrigerated, because when it is too hot and humid they tend to melt. I would try more unflavored gelatin if you are having set up issues.
