Solo cup update 9

It is time for another solo cup update

It has been 9 days since I flipped the tent. So far so good for my solo cup girl. She is looking good and strong and hopefully she stays looking good and strong. She just started showing signs of sex but apparently I am having a really off day and after 5 attempts to keep her still enough to get a close up of her sex I gave up because they all turned out blurry and sadly I have other work to do and projects. So I said screw it next week I should have more time to be able to get some good close ups.

The issue of the yellowing was lack of water I increased the water and the yellowing stopped. I need to trim those off

For those who are new to my blog

This solo cup along with 4 other plants in my tent is my first grow. I have read a ton about growing and know a lot of methods that work for people. So I am hopeful the nerd in me gets me a great first grow as my very first veggie garden did. I researched a lot before I did that too. I know many think I should try LST (low stress-training) and I will on my second grow I feel I need to gain experience first growing sucessfully good buds before I risk trying fancy techinques. But I will try them eventually just not till I am comfortable.

So I am still in it

Not out yet which kind of has me a little surprised. As I don't have the experience that other growers have with this plant. But I do have experience growing other things and I am a researcher. I research the crap out of things I am going to do and read everything I can about it with the understand that conditions can change things and what works for some doesn't work for others. So if I am not doing it your way it is okay there are more than one way to do things. Am I going to make mistakes yes but I am figuring out what works for me. I might take some tips and might discard some. I might revisit discarded ones if what I try doesn't give me the results I want but so far so good. And I am going to keep doing what I am doing because it is working.

Till next time stoners

It is 4:20 somewhere so puff puff pass

Nice to see that little girl still kicking and seems to be thriving in her little life, I am rooting for you this challenge😁

The solocupchallenge is looking great, it's still looking very healthy. You are doing a good job, thanks for the update bon on. :-)

Hi tecnosgirl, I was wondering what lights you are using and how much heat they generate, I had a look back through the older posts but couldn't see it.

I will have to look it up too many weeks have gone by since I bought them. But I will look it up later on today when I am at my computer. They are not the best lights just the min needed to produce. I plan on upgrading my lighting system the next grow. So I have better production but so far these are working nicely for my cheap not having much money budget for this grow. And for heat they don't produce that much my tent stays between 77 and 80 depending on how much I am venting.
