Hello, people of the Smoke Universe!
I am revamping the Daily Munchies Game because apparently it got controversial and some crybabies were too afraid some people earned a little everyday from Smoke. They were kicking and screaming that the reward pool was being "raped," thinking the money in the platform is from their grandparents' pockets and not from the people's stakes.
Despite the game not being harmful to any human being or the platform itself, I am meeting the crybabies halfway because kicking, screaming and them flagging my entrants posts is generally bad for the Smoke community.
So, what's new with the Munchies game?
I am rebranding the game and renaming it Smoke and Munchies, S&M. Now, that sounds better, I guess. Sounds more fun! LOL It will now run weekly, since the daily was too much big deal for them haters. It will have 2 categories, Smoke and Munchies. It will be open to Smokers and non-Smokers alike just because I am not discriminating like that and realistically speaking both kinds of humans exist in this blockchain and one should not be discriminated from the other because... READ my thoughts on this matter in my posts here.
It's a photography kind of contest but not too technical on the photography aspect because I myself isn't a photographer. It is considered as such because primarily because it will be showcasing photos of things being smoked and being munched by people. There are two categories, smoke and munchies. Obviously the smoke category is for all out cannabis stuff people smoke. On the other hand, the munchies category is all about the edibles and anything people are food tripping on.
The contest runs weekly and each person can have 3 entries for the week, it can be all munchies or all smoke or a mix of both. 3 people will win for the Smoke category and 3 people will win for the Munchies category. Each winner will get 4.20 Smoke tokens. The rest of the entrants will get a fraction of 4.20 divided by the number of non-winners. It sounds like a @mermaidvampire contest where everyone wins something and her NO LOSERS tag. LOL Her games are good, the only person that loses in it is HER. LOL I'm doing this because I was spending 4.20 x 7 with the Munchies of the Day game, now I am still willing to spend the same amount even if it's done weekly.
Quality photos must be used. It does not need to be from a good camera but photo editing and enhancements could help if the picture is low quality. Use freewares like Picasa or Lightroom or any photo editing app you can find. I will run a reverse image search for all the photos submitted to make sure none of it violates copyrights and to avoid plagiarized content. I did not want to be this strict but then the game gets mocked, thus the effort.
The syntax for the title will be [Name of Smoke/Food/Munchies] - [Entry #: X, Week X for Smoke and Munchies Weekly Contest by @nona]
Example: Burger and Fries - Entry #: 1, Week 1 for Smoke and Munchies Weekly Contest by @nona
At the bottom, say something about the picture. Add a story about it or if it's a picture of a joint, feel free to free-write about your high episodes. Minimum of 5 sentences. It could also be a story of just how your day went. Again, minimum of 5 sentences, free-write. It means write your thoughts, whether it makes sense or just random thoughts, no one can stop you.
Below that, add a banner promoting Smoke Network, or a cannabis-related meme or gif, a fun fact, a trivia, a call for legalization of weed where you are or just anything in relation to the cannabis community. This is a required part of the post.
The next requirement is optional but it would be nice to have this. Put a link to a cannabis related blog you read in Smoke.io at the bottom. Ask your viewers to click or view it. Upsmoking or curating is not required. You may or may not vote according to your will, I have nothing to do with your stakes and I am not authoritarian unlike some people.
The Smoke and Munchies will be starting next week Sunday, November 18, 2018. I'll be running a logo and banner contest for it before it starts.
