Cannabis Gummy Candy Recipe
- 1/2 ounces cannabis tincture (three teaspoons)
- 2 green tea bags
- 3-tablespoons creamed organic honey
- 1/2 cup coconut water (remove the coconut chunks)
- 3/4 cup juice (I used cranberry grape)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons agar agar or unflavored gelatin
- 1/8 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt
Cream the honey while you place the coconut water on stove to boil, then steep the two green tea bags for about 10 minutes. Add the juice, salt and creamed honey, stirring until WELL blended. Add gelatin VERY slowly to prevent clumping. WHISK well. Remove from heat and once the temperature is at 120-degrees, whisk in cannabis tincture.
Pour into prepared molds.
Refrigerate anywhere from 1-3 hours; depending on how big the molds are. DO NOT freeze- this causes the gelatin to get funky.
Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.
While the coconut water and tea bags were steeping, I measured out all the other ingredients to be prepared.
Creaming the honey only took about a minute. I just used a hand mixer.
This recipe is spot on for taste, flavor and the strength of the edible, but the molds and removing the candy (Jell-O) from the molds was a huge catastrophe for me. So much so, that I hate to even post a a picture here. When I have perfected the removal, I will post the pictures.
