Hello fellow stoners!
I hope you are having a mighty fine day! I know I am. Of Course….
I mean, writing a “blog post” on a Saturday evening. Now ask yourself, is there anything better? Ah, I thought so! And yes I know it is Sunday now,
Had the intention to post every day, start fresh and committed on this new adventure called smoke. However, three days past.... But hopefully, this will reach your eyes this Sunday the 30th of September. So yes, I must admit I am a very active procrastinator. And since I left the matrix I don’t have any supervision 😱
I always have issues with writing. My main thing is making visual stuff. However good content has to have something nice to look at and some information in the form of words which are either informational or funny. I am used to posting on Instagram. Which is a visual platform so the importance of good textual content is far less.
In December 2017 I started with steemit, which was also my first experience with cryptocurrencies. Definitely a good learning school. What I found there is a lot of toxic material in the form of personal flame wars etc. The big monkey on the rock stuff. Big ego’s clashing. Greed and envy seem to take the upper hand. I wonder if it will be different on this platform, with supposedly all open-minded cannabis smokers.
I also read a lot of discussion about good content. And I got the feeling that good content always needs a lot of words to be considered good. Even to apply to some ‘contests’ there are requirements about the number of words. Like minimal 500 words. 😳
😡 Rant on
Probably, or not probably but definitely my point of view is biased. I mean is 10 hours working on an amazing image which you post with just a good quote carefully picked(yes that takes time as well) less content than an article that is written in a short time but with a lot of words? In my book, Hell NO!!!
🙃 Rant off
Wow a lot of words by now 👊😎
So I am gonna leave you with some of my favorite quotes and some work of mine.
“Creative without strategy is called 'art.' Creative with strategy is called 'advertising.'”
Jef I. Richards
“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”
“Art, freedom and creativity will change society faster than politics.
This is it, for now, see you next year!
